'Vikings' Season 6, Episode 5 Preview: Election For The King Of Norway

All the warlords of the realm will gather together in “Vikings” Season 6, episode 5 to choose a king for all of Norway. A preview video of the next episode that has been released online teases the election scene, but not everything may go according to plan.
The meeting will take place in Harald’s (Peter Franzén) territory. A preview video of the episode shows a beautiful platform that has been built on the river for all the kings to gather in a circle and vote to chose one true king for all of Norway.
According to the official synopsis, King Olaf (Steven Berkoff) will be confident about the results of the election. However, the election itself will not go as smoothly as planned. Another preview video shows King Olaf having a discussion about how there should be no problems during the election.
Bjorn Lothbrok (Alexander Ludwig) is a strong contender to be the king of all of Norway. He is concerned about not being able to wield actual power even after winning the election.
Meanwhile, Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen) will continue to face challenges in “Vikings” Season 6, episode 5. The preview video shows him dealing with a new set of problems while his brother Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) will meet with people who have travelled the Silk Road and have some information about Ivar.
Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) is back as a warrior. She will prepare her people for another attack in the next episode. A scene from a previous episode posted online shows the character engaging the enemy in a fierce battle, but the fighting has always come at a cost for the former queen of Kattegat.
“Vikings” Season 6, episode 5 is titled “The Key.” It will be released on Jan. 1, 2020 at 9 p.m. EST on History.
