Comfort is key in airport fashion and therefore people are mostly found wearing joggers and leggings while flying. However, wearing a bikini to the airport is perhaps the last thing you would imagine yourself doing.

In a recent video, a woman was seen roaming around an airport in something most fellow travelers and flight crews wouldn't approve of -- a bikini. Thankfully, she had a mask on in compliance with the COVID-19 protocols.

In the video, the unidentified blonde woman is seen walking past the airport terminal clad in an olive bikini and a backpack. A man, who seemed to accompany her, was fully clothed and there were no signs of him coming straight from the beach or a pool party. Of course, the strange spectacle had viral-worthy elements and the video has since garnered 173,778 views as of Monday.

The account, named "Humans of Spirit Airlines," often posts videos poking fun at airline passengers, and gives its followers a hearty laugh over scenarios at the "ultra-low-cost-airline."

"When you have a pool party at noon and a Spirit Airlines flight to catch at 4pm," the caption reads.

There have been earlier instances of airline passengers being kicked out of the planes for wearing clothes that the airline deemed "lewd." In November last year, a Playboy model was forced to disembark a Southwest Airlines flight because she was wearing a revealing outfit. The model, Eve J. Marie, was told by the airline staff that her low-cut leopard print top violated the carrier's dress code policy.

In another such humiliating encounter that took place in July this year, a Turkish influencer and bodybuilder, Deniz Saypinar, was thrown out on an American Airlines flight from Texas to Miami for wearing an outfit that the crew said wouldn't go down well with other families traveling alongside her.
