Vivo S5, Vivo X30 5G Possible Release Date, Specs And Other Features Revealed

After the Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo confirmed the name of its next S-series smartphone lines, we heard nothing about the new Vivo S5. This week, the Chinese firm posted a teaser video on the Weibo website, revealing more about the upcoming Vivo S5 phone.

Based on the newly-released teaser video, the new Vivo S5 will be a camera-centric device just like its predecessors that comes with vibrant colors and stylish design. The teaser also showed that the new device will get a diamond-shaped quad-camera setup on its back and comes with a 3.5mm audio jack on the top edge of the device.

Also in the clip, the device appears to get some sort of in-screen fingerprint reader system. Additionally, the new device could be targeted towards the younger generation of smartphone users in China.

Right now, details about specifications are still limited, but the crowd could expect a midrange mobile processor and the same 64 MP main camera system that was used by Vivo in the Vivo NEX3 phablets. We could expect the full list of the specifications in the coming days, possibly via the TENAA certification. There’s also not much information about its release date, but the company is expected to introduce the new Vivo S5 sometime in November.

The only sure thing about the upcoming Vivo S5 is that the back panel of this new device will get all kinds of fancy colors, which include Coral Red, Cherry Pink, Midsummer Dream, and Love Blue.

In addition to the upcoming Vivo S5 smartphone, the Chinese firm is also planning to launch a new 5G smartphone. In fact, the Chinese firm has also teased an image of the new 5G phone, showing a triple camera system on the rear side of the phone.

The upcoming Vivo X30 5G smartphone will be announced with a partner Samsung. It also rumored to get the Samsung Exynos 980 mobile chipset. This top-notch mobile chipset is equipped with a 5G modem, allowing the Vivo device to support the superfast 5G technology.

The new 5G phone is also rumored to feature a waterfall display and an in-screen fingerprint reader system. The new phone might also come with a pop-up selfie camera system, just like its predecessor the Vivo X27 smartphone. Expect more details about these two smartphones in the following days.
