  • Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour reportedly has had enough of Kanye West after his recent controversies
  • She reportedly made it clear inside Vogue that West is no longer part of its inner circle
  • The rapper recently mocked Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson

Kanye West is no longer welcome or part of the Vogue inner circle, a report says.

Anna Wintour, 72, and West, 45, have had a close relationship for years. The Vogue editor-in-chief first invited the Yeezy founder to her annual Met Gala in 2009 before featuring him and his now-ex-wife Kim Kardashian on Vogue's cover in 2014 following their wedding.

Last month, Wintour also modeled West's new sunglasses line in press images, even after he publicly bullied Kardashian online about their kids.

However, a Vogue spokesperson told Page Six that the magazine and Wintour have now cut ties with West after his support for the White Lives Matter cause and his anti-Semitic remarks.

"Anna has had enough," an unnamed insider told the outlet Friday, adding, "She has made it very clear inside Vogue that Kanye is no longer part of the inner circle."

This comes weeks after Wintour reportedly sent her longtime friend, director Baz Luhrman, to film West's reconciliation with Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. The "Gold Digger" rapper had mocked Karefa-Johnson's fashion sense because she criticized him for wearing a "White Lives Matter" T-shirt at his recent Paris fashion show.

The Grammy winner posted on Instagram a since-deleted photo of Karefa-Johnson wearing brown boots, a striped knit skirt, a yellow graphic T-shirt and a corduroy trench coat with bold accessories and captioned it: "This is not a fashion person."

In another since-deleted post, West once again mocked the editor's outfit, writing in all caps, "I KNOOOOOW ANNA HAAAATES THESE BOOTS," referring to Wintour.

Days later, West wrote on Instagram that he met up with Karefa-Johnson at a New York City restaurant and that they "apologized to each other for the way we made each other feel."

"SHE DISAGREED, I DISAGREED, WE DISAGREED. AT LEAST WE BOTH LOVE FERDIE AND FASHION," the rapper wrote in all caps.

Vogue confirmed that West and Karefa-Johnson met up before condemning his treatment of their employee.

"Vogue stands with Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, our global fashion editor at large and longtime contributor. She was personally targeted and bullied. It is unacceptable," the magazine wrote on Instagram. "Now more than ever, voices like hers are needed and in a private meeting with Ye today she once again spoke her truth in a way she felt best, on her terms."

Just recently, Adidas announced that it was reviewing its Yeezy partnership with West after his White Lives Matter controversy and amid the rapper's allegations that the brand stole his designs.

"Successful partnerships are rooted in mutual respect and shared values," the brand said in a statement obtained by CNBC.

On Friday, Balenciaga also said that it will no longer work with West.
