‘The Voice’ Season 12 Judge Gwen Stefani Teases Boyfriend Blake Shelton With Twitter Photo

“The Voice” coach Gwen Stefani is known to joke around when it comes to her boyfriend Blake Shelton, however, the singer took her latest funny attempt and shared it with her more than 2.5 million Twitter followers.

On Thursday, the songstress posted an old photo of her boyfriend in which he seemed fairly young. In the picture, Shelton is rocking a mullet and a clean shaven face compared to his current scruffy beard which has become a signature part of his look.

The singer also appeared to have dark hair which is very different compared to the gray hairs that can be seen throughout the country star’s mane. “#NewProfilePic,” Stefani tweeted with the post.

Stefani was very serious about her hashtag because the singer has since changed her profile photo to the same image she posted of her boyfriend. Although the photo is semi-embarrassing, it isn’t likely that Shelton will be too upset with his girlfriend’s latest Twitter post.

The couple has a playful relationship on their NBC series “The Voice” but the competition does get intense sometimes. Stefani previously revealed that Shelton has spent some nights on the couch following the competition.

The couple has been dating for over a year and has praised one another in various interviews. “I love Blake!” Stefani told late night host Seth Meyers during a February appearance on his talk show.

“He is the most incredible guy. Everybody loves Blake, and that’s the thing. There’s no way around it. He’s just a sparkly like happy, amazing person,” she said of her beau.

Although Shelton hasn’t responded to Stefani’s Twitter profile makeover, it’s likely that they playful couple will have a laugh over the hilarious post.
