“The Voice” will be returning to NBC for Season 17 on Monday in search of the next big name in music. The NBC series is known for planting surprises on the judges’ panel but this season came as a bit of a shock to fans.

Unlike previous seasons, Adam Levine will not be appearing as a coach to the contestants. This time around, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend will be on hand to mentor the aspiring artists.

Before tuning in to the premiere, learn more about the judges who will be giving contestants the tips they need to win the grand prize of a recording contract.

Blake Shelton

After winning “The Voice” six times, Shelton has returned for his seventeenth consecutive season and another shot at victory. The country crooner has a long history of success, including the release of his album, “Texoma Shore,” which debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The 20-time ACM nominee has taken home five CMA Male Vocalist of the Year awards and has his eye on the prize for Season 17.
