Wade McCree: Detroit Judge Texts Shirtless Photo To Colleague: ‘I’ve Got No Shame In My Game’
Detroit Judge Wade McCree, who specializes in sexual misconduct cases, feels no remorse for texting a shirtless photo of himself to one of his female colleagues, even though it may cost him his job.
Hot dog, yep that's me, McCree said of the photo, according to the Daily Mail. I've got no shame in my game. I ain't talked to nobody else's wife. You can get that here and now.
McCree said he sent the shirtless pic to several other women.
I've sent that out to other women. There's nothing nude about it. I'm in no more clothes than I'll be at the Y this afternoon when I swim my mile, he said.
The judge sent the shitless photo directly to a court bailiff, whose husband found it on her phone.
The angry husband told Fox News that [McCree's] looked upon as being some great figure, but if you look at the picture, you see what he's really about. He's not what he appears to be ... What kind of a man would send this to a married woman?
It's totally inappropriate. It says a lot that he's flawed. He's not what he appears to be, at least not to the general public because he has access to kids, he has access to different charitable functions, the angry husband said.
Fox 2 legal analyst Charlie Langton said McCree could possibly lose his job over the photo.
If you take your cell phone and you send naked pictures to people that's called sexting, he said. High school kids do it these days, I wasn't aware that judges do it too. I mean its borderline criminal... and weird.
Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., lost his job last year after he posted a shirtless picture of himself on his Twitter account by accident while trying to send the photo via direct message to one of his adult female followers on the site. Although he initially denied the accusations, he later admitted to sending sexually suggestive -- or explicit -- photos to six women over three years. He resigned in June 2011.
The bailiff's husband filed a complaint with the Judicial Tenure Commission.
McCree comes from a line of distinguished judges. His father, Wade H. McCree Jr., was the first African-American judge to be appointed to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit during the Carter administration. He is only the second African American ever to be appointed solicitor general.
McCree was appointed to the Wayne County 3rd Circuit Court in 2004.
