Following the 2011 WWDC, Apple-lovers will have another reason to be excited over as multinational retailer; Wal-Mart has offered a staggering discount of $52 discount over the regular price on the 16 GB iPhone 4.

Thus, from $197 market value, the prize was slashed down by 25 percent to $147. However, this offer is valid only till the 30th of June and involves both the black and white iPhone 4 versions.

Online publication, PC Magazine, reports that the offer applies to the AT&T and Verizon Wireless versions of the Apple smartphone apart from the black and white models.

However, there is no clarity about the exact number of iPhone 4s that will be offered at the discount rate at the store. The company also did not give the exact details about how many stores would be selling the $147 iPhone 4.
