‘Walking Dead’ And ‘Breaking Bad’ Marathons: When And Where To Watch Every Episode For Free On AMC Starting Dec. 27
AMC wants its viewers to start 2014 right -- with full season marathons of “The Walking Dead” and “Breaking Bad.” The network is airing every episode from both hit series and they are available for free. So, how do you watch? We’re breaking down all the information including the schedule below.
“Breaking Bad”
The marathons kick off with “Breaking Bad” airing from Friday, Dec. 27, to Tuesday, Dec. 31. Starting each day at noon ET/PT, the network will feature back-to-back episodes in order from all five seasons.
For those that missed out on the TV phenomenon, “Breaking Bad” was about a desperate man who “turns to a life of crime to secure his family’s financial future.” Beginning in 2008, the series came to a mind-blowing ending on Sep. 29, 2013 -- delivering a series-record of 10.3 million viewers.
The pilot kicks off the “Breaking Bad” marathon at noon on Friday, Dec. 27. The day rounds out with season 2, episode 5, “Breakage,” at midnight, but episodes continue until 5 a.m. with season 2, episode 9, “4 Days Out.” Season 2, episode 10, picks up at noon on Saturday, Dec. 28, ending at 5 a.m. with season 3, episode 12, “Half Measures.” At noon on Sunday, Dec. 29, the marathon kicks off again with season 3, episode 13, “Full Measure,” and pauses at 4 a.m. with season 5, episode 2, “Madrigal.” The “Breaking Bad” marathon concludes on Tuesday, Dec. 31, at 2:03 a.m. with the airing of the series finale, “Felina.”

“The Walking Dead”
“The Walking Dead” marathon picks up where “Breaking Bad” left off, beginning with back-to-back episodes at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Without taking a break in the early hours, “The Walking Dead” will be playing straight through to 5 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, with the midseason finale for season 4, “Too Far Gone.”
The marathon allows viewers to catch up on the comic book series before “The Walking Dead” returns for the second half of its fourth season on Sunday, Feb. 9, at 9 p.m. on AMC.
