Excited for Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 2? Before you say no, consider that there's another big event to watch on game day: AMC's first ever “Zombie Bowl,” for fans of the hit series "Walking Dead."
What is a “Zombie Bowl,” you might ask? The “Zombie Bowl” is set to highlight the “greatest rivalry on television – humans vs. walkers.” Just like Animal Planet has the “Puppy Bowl,” AMC plans on unleashing a team of zombies in a football field with a batch of unsuspecting humans.
Just kidding! The “Zombie Bowl” is a marathon of every episode in seasons 1 and 2. Relive the glory days when Lori and Rick were dealing with Shane drama and Hershel still had his head attached starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2.
“The Walking Dead: Zombie Bowl” airs the weekend before the second half of season 4 returns to AMC. The midseason premiere will find Rick dealing with old wounds and the prison survivors trying to “come to terms with their new environment” after the attack from the Governor. You can watch episode 9 when it premieres on AMC on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 9 p.m.
