‘Walking Dead’ Season 5 Comic-Con Poster Released; Everything To Know About SDCC 2014 Events

“The Walking Dead” is taking over San Diego Comic-Con this week. The highly anticipated convention is running from July 24- 27, and the hit AMC show has released its Season 5 banner ahead of Friday's panel.

The 2014 Comic-Con banner was release by the network on Monday. The first Season 5 promo poster features series regulars Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carl (Chandler Riggs), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan). Fans will also be surprised to see Sgt. Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz), one of the newer additions to the cast, made the cut. All the characters can be seen handcuffed inside the Terminus train car that Gareth and the other Termites locked them inside at the end of the Season 4 finale. While no premiere date for the new season is indicated on the banner, it does say viewers can expect the series to return to AMC in October 2014.

“The Walking Dead” Comic-Con panel will take place in Hall H on Friday at 12:20 p.m. PDT. The cast will be in attendance, along with showrunner Scott Gimple, executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Dave Alpert and Greg Nicotero. “Talking Dead” host Chris Hardwick is the moderator.
