‘Walking Dead’ Season 5 Spoilers: Episode 13 Synopsis Released Online; Photos And Videos For ‘Forget’
The survivors on “The Walking Dead” can finally relax now that they’re in a safe place with food and security. But that’s the last thing they’re doing. Episode 13 of Season 5 of the AMC series, titled “Forget,” will find Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) group struggling with their new home.
According to the synopsis for Sunday’s episode, Rick and Co. will “continue to acclimate to their new surroundings.” Unfortunately, nothing is as simple as that. The episode description for “Forget” adds that they will “consider a return to normalcy.”
Does this mean that the survivors will decide to leave the Alexandria Safe-Zone? Michonne (Danai Gurira) wanted to make the best of the situation and turn Alexandria into their new home, but not everyone agreed. Daryl (Norman Reedus) didn’t appear too open to the idea of their new living arrangements, and Glenn (Steven Yeun) butted heads with Aiden (Daniel Bonjour), the head of supply runs. Meanwhile, Carl (Chandler Riggs) argued that the people in the Safe-Zone were “weak” and that Rick’s group would get weak by living there.
Although it’s the ideal situation to raise baby Judith in, Rick’s group is not used to taking orders from others -- and it seems like they’ll make a play to take over Alexandria. The synopsis doesn’t exactly say that the survivors will attack the people who took them in, but Rick’s words at the end of episode 12 hint at it.
“If they can’t make it, then we’ll just take this place,” he told Carol (Melissa McBride) and Daryl in the final moments.
Alexandria will be a big focus in episode 13 of “The Walking Dead.” However, the gang won’t be trapped behind the walls for the entire time. Sneak-peek videos of “Forget” show Daryl and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) out and about in the woods.
“The Walking Dead,” Season 5, episode 13, will be shown on AMC Sunday, March 8, at 9 p.m. EDT. Watch the videos below and tweet your predictions to @AmandaTVScoop.
