‘Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Michael Cudlitz Teases Mind Blowing Premiere In New Behind-The-Scenes Video
“The Walking Dead” is still months away from returning to AMC, but the good news is that the cast is back to work filming. Fresh on the heels of the San Diego Comic-Con poster, the network posted a brand new behind-the-scenes video to tease what’s in store for Season 6 of the zombie apocalypse drama … and according to star Michael Cudlitz, viewers won’t want to miss the premiere.
“Season 6 is going to be phenomenal,” says Cudlitz, who plays Sgt. Abraham Ford. “The first episode is going to blow your mind.”
But what can fans expect? In the video, Cudlitz takes viewers on a tour of the Season 6 set to visit with their favorite characters. Check out the highlights:
Wolves
“Walking Dead” fans can’t forget about the dangerous humans who call themselves “Wolves.” The group was introduced in the finale with survivor Morgan (Lennie James). Morgan ended up getting away and rescuing Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) from one of their traps. However, the wolves are still out there.
“We ended on a really compelling note, so I’m excited to get going,” actress Sonequa Martin-Green, who plays Sasha, teases. “I hope we find out a lot more about these Wolves.”
Morgan
Morgan was reunited with Rick in the final moments of the Season 5 finale, and “Walking Dead” fans will get to see that play out a bit in the Season 6 premiere. But will we learn more about the mysterious character – and how he became so skilled with a stick?
Unfortunately actor Lennie James is not spilling the beans. “I think I know, but I’m not sure,” he says to Cudlitz.
Shovels
Are there bodies to bury? Possibly! Cudlitz can be seen holding a shovel in the video, and the screen cuts to Glenn (Steven Yeun) digging a whole with Maggie (Lauren Cohan) close by.
Season 6 of “The Walking Dead” returns to AMC this fall. Watch the behind-the-scenes video below:
(P.S. Don’t miss the 2:01 mark to see Norman Reedus plant a kiss on Danai Gurira)
