'The Walking Dead' Season 9, Episode 13 Preview: Daryl Fights Beta
There is a big fight coming up between Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Beta (Ryan Hurst) in “The Walking Dead” Season 9, episode 13. A preview video shows the two sides preparing for conflict, and the strongest characters from each side will be the first ones to fight.
The preview video of the next episode shows Beta tracking Daryl and his team after the daring rescue in the previous episode. According to the official synopsis, Alpha (Samantha Morton) will send a group of her people to get back what belongs to her. Her second-in-command will be among the people she will send.
Lydia (Cassady McClincy) will confirm that Beta is the best warrior the Whisperers have, and that is a good reason for Daryl to take him out to demoralize the group. The challenge will not be easy because Hurst’s character will be more than a match for the crossbow-wielding hero.
The fight will take place in one of the buildings on the way back to Hilltop. Daryl appears to be setting a trap for the Whisperers at this location.
So far, Beta has only appeared with his mask on. Will he reveal his face in the next episode? A behind-the-scenes picture of Hurst without the zombie mask has been shared online, giving the fans a glimpse of what the character looks like underneath.
Meanwhile, the Kingdom will continue to face problems with the fair they are trying to organize. A sneak peek video of “The Walking Dead” Season 9, episode 13 shows them getting a threatening letter. Someone has taken over the roads surrounding the Kingdom, and they will demand Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his people to pay them a toll to use these roads.
The Kingdom doesn’t have the resources to pay what has been demanded of them. Ezekiel, Carol (Melissa McBride) and Jerry (Cooper Andrews) will decide to go to war to protect their community. The only problem is that they are not really sure who this mysterious group is that is making demands of them.
“The Walking Dead” Season 9, episode 13 titled “Chokepoint” will air on March 10 at 9 p.m. EST.
