Critics have praised Wall-E as a contender for the best movie of 2008 as it opens today in the United States.

Experts comments have placed the film at the top of this week's openings on rottentomatoes.com, a review aggregation site. The site's 'Tomatometer' marks 98 percent positive reviews from Approved Tomatometer Critics.

Pixar's latest film has garnered a number of glowing reviews, painting the film as a jewel , dangerously close to the sublime, 2008's first perfect film, pure visual magic and a movie that reveals that Pixar Animation Studios has just topped itself, again.
