Wall St opens slightly lower after five-day run
Stocks fell slightly after the open on Tuesday after the market's best week in two years last week.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 10.03 points, or 0.08 percent, at 12,572.74. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 2.44 points, or 0.18 percent, at 1,337.23. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was up 1.04 points, or 0.04 percent, at 2,817.07.
The Commerce Department will release May factory orders data at 10 a.m. <1400 GMT>. Economists in a Reuters survey expect a rise of 1.0 percent compared with a 1.2 percent drop in the prior month.
