Walmart Black Friday 2020: When Does It Start And End? Ad Preview
Black Friday 2020 has already kicked off at Walmart (WMT) with a slew of deals that will run throughout November, promising deep discounts all month long in three sales events.
The first Black Friday event runs through Saturday, giving customers savings on toys, electronics, and home products. The deals run online and in stores, with more deals added on Saturday in stores at 5 a.m. local time and online at 12 a.m. EST.
Walmart dropped its Black Friday ad for the first sales event, offering the Apple Airpods for $99, Instant Pots for $49, and Air Fryers for $49. Other deals from the retailer include iRobot Roomba vacuums for $177, 32-inch Acer gaming monitors for $155, and HP Pavillion GTX 1650 gaming laptops for $449.
The first sales event will also coincide with Walmart’s annual tire event that runs until Nov. 13. Here, customers will receive $20 off per tire and free lifetime balance service from any Walmart Auto Care Center for all modular Goodyear brand tires purchased online or in stores.
The second Black Friday event starts online Wednesday with new deals in-stores on Nov. 14. This sale will focus on electronics, including TVs, computers, and tablets, as well as movies, music, apparel, and home products.
The sale will start online on Wednesday at 7 p.m. EST. New deals will be added on Nov. 14 at 12 a.m. EST, while in-store sales begin at 5 a.m. local time.
The sales ad for the second Black Friday event has also been released by Walmart, showing deals on TVs with the 55-inch TCL 4K UHD Roku Smart TV on sale for $148 and the 50-inch Onn 4K UHD Roku Smart TV on sale for $128.
Laptops are also discounted, with the 14-inch Lenovo IdeaPad 3 laptop priced at $149 and the 15.6-inch HP Core i3 laptop on sale for $249. Tablets deals are also available, with the Lenovo Tab M8 HD tablet selling for $59 while the 14-inch HP 2-in1 Touch Teal Chromebook is selling for $179.
The second Black Friday sales event will be held in conjunction with Walmart’s wireless phone event on Nov. 14, offering deals on iPhones and Samsung phones.
The third Black Friday sales event at Walmart will begin on Wednesday, Nov. 25 with new deals in stores on Friday, Nov. 27 (which is officially Black Friday). This event will also offer savings on electronics as well as toys, gifts, and seasonal décor.
Online deals will start on Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. EST with new sale items being added at 12 a.m. EST online and in stores at 5 a.m. local time on Nov. 27.
Shares of Walmart were trading at $145.25 as of 10:22 a.m. EST, up $1.78 or 1.24%.
