Wanted Marine Deserter Arrested In Virginia Home Following Manhunt
The Marine deserter who was accused of murder was arrested in his Virginia home, ending a three-state manhunt.
Michael Alexander Brown, 22, was arrested without incident at around 8 a.m. in his mother’s home in Franklin County, on Wednesday.
Acting U.S. Marshall Brad Sellers said that they received information that made them focus on the home.
According to the CBS News, Brown was contacted in the house which led to the police taking him into custody.

He was reportedly in fine condition.
Brown was put on the FBI’s Most Wanted fugitive list on Monday after deserting his post at North Carolina’s Camp Lejeune on October 18 and allegedly shooting and killing his mother’s boyfriend, 54-year-old Rodney Brown, CNN reported.
Brown was charged with second-degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Authorities said that more details about his arrest and capture would be released in a press conference the following morning.
