Was Kelly Dodd Fired? 'RHOC' Star Reveals The Truth
After Bravo let go of four "Vanderpump Rules" stars, fans are calling for the network to add a few more to that list -- one of those people being "Real Housewives of Orange County" star Kelly Dodd.
At one point there was a rumor going around that the Bravo reality star had, in fact, been terminated which All About The Real Housewives posted on their Instagram page. Included in the post was a tweet from Bravo Twins account that read, "Word on the street is @RHOC_KellyDodd got fired from #RHOC. Thoughts?"
According to the AATRH website, one user commented, "I hope you aren’t fired, you ARE the show. Queen," which caused Kelly to chime in and lay the claims to rest.
"I’m not fired…why is this being said…If I was, I would say I was fired," she responded.
The mother of one doubled-down on maintaining her employment when another fan wrote, "I pray the rumors I’ve been reading are fake news, and you are not fired, I love you on the show" and Kelly replied, "I’m not fired."
This isn't the first time people have petitioned for Kelly to be fired from "RHOC" and it isn't the first time she's addressed the situation online either.
On May 23, she uploaded a series of Instagram Stories after hearing from her co-star Braunwyn Windham-Burke that there was a "hate group" that was allegedly in touch with the production company behind the reality show.

"I got a call from Braunwyn this morning telling me about some Facebook 'hate group' that's texting Evolution, my production company, to 'fire Kelly Dodd,'" she began. "Well, you know what? This has been happening for the last five years that I've been on the show... Tamra [Judge] tried to get me fired and Vicki [Gunvalson] tried to get me fired."
"So you guys ... get a life," the mother of one snapped. "Do something positive. Maybe help other people out instead of being such haters. It's hilarious right now, okay? Get a life."
Despite the rumor, Kelly seemed relatively unbothered about it and even tweeted about how she can't wait to get back to work.
"Having a great time with my loves in Florida," she wrote alongside a photo of herself and fiancé Rick Leventhal. "Looking forward to getting back to filming next month #RHOC."
