Washington Wizards To Stake Six-Game Winning Streak Against Portland Trail Blazers

Washington is coming off a 127-106 demolition of the rebuilding San Antonio Spurs.
In that game, the Wizards ended their 22-game losing streak in San Antonio thanks to the exploits of Deni Avdija and Bradley Beal.
Avdija came off the bench to finish with a team-high 25 points and nine rebounds.
Beal capped the night with a 21-point performance along with seven rebounds and seven assists.
"The streak is done," Avdija stated. "Just to close that circle and be here and having a good game versus the Spurs and end that streak. I think everybody did a really great job competing. When we're focused and sharing the ball, we're a really dangerous team."

However, the Trail Blazers will be no pushovers for the Wizards as they are coming off back-to-back wins, the last of which was against the Memphis Grizzlies with a 122-112 victory.
Damian Lillard exploded for 42 points in that win together with 10 assists and eight rebounds.
Anfernee Simmons chipped in 26 points and four assists to back up Lillard.
"I think we've had a couple of quality wins," Lillard stated. "This was the best team we've come up with a win against, especially as of late."
Portland is scoring 114.3 points per outing and has an offensive rating of 115.7, while the Blazers are giving up 113.7 points per game.
The Wizards are installed as -4 favorites against the +4 underdogs in the form of the Blazers.
Moreover, the moneyline for this matchup is -170 for Washington and +145 for Portland.
