On Monday's newest episode of “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” Caitlyn Jenner took part in one of the show's toughest challenges.

Jenner, alongside co-star Kate Garraway, had to endure being in a box with 30,000 cockroaches for the first Bushtucker Trial of the show. Bushtucker Trials are used by contestants on the show to get food and treats for the camp and are usually either food competitons or physical/mental tasks.

As noted by The Mirror, on top of being surrounded by one of the insects, they also had to throw balls into a bucket. The final difficulty of the challenge was doing all this while being suspended in a hanging cage over a dreary lake for 10 minutes.

As a former athlete determined to win, footage of the challenge shows Jenner stayed calm during the ordeal. When the cockroaches got released into Jenner’s box she jokingly exclaimed, “Oh boy. Oh we’ve got lots of friends."

Garraway, on the other hand, could not tolerate the challenge and screamed throughout.

After the competition, Jenner had to get the medical staff to help remove a cockroach from her ear, reports Express. Despite her medical mishap, the outlet reports Jenner and Garraway were able to secure four meals for their camp.

In an official statement released by ITV, celebrities on the popular British reality show leave “their plush pads and luxuries far behind, our celebrity campers will spend up to three weeks taking on the harsh surroundings of the Australian Jungle, with a whole host of brand new nasty surprises created just for them.”

This season is hosted by Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. The Independent reported that this is McPartlin’s first return to the show after he was convicted for drunk driving in 2018.

Jenner is the only American celebrity competing in the current season.
