Courteney Cox took fans on a trip down memory lane with a performance of the theme song of her hit sitcom, "Friends." With this latest cover, fans can't wait for her and her co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer to reunite soon.

On Wednesday, Cox posted a video on Instagram of her doing a cover of the "Friends" theme song, "I'll Be There for You" by The Rembrandts.

The actress started the cover by clapping her hands to the tune of the feel-good song. She was joined by musician Joel Taylor on guitar.

It seems like she was watching "Friends" while making the video as after the brief performance, Perry can be heard talking in an episode of the show. "Oh, that was Chandler," Cox said, referring to her co-star's character on the series that ran from 1994 to 2004.

"How’d I do? #friends #pianocover @jadeehlers @thisisjoeltaylor Let me know what I should learn next below," she wrote alongside the video.

Fans and fellow celebrities gushed over Cox's cover of the "Friends" theme song. "OMG OMG," football legend David Beckham commented on her post, adding fire and heart-eyed emojis.

"This is amazing," wrote "2 Broke Girls" star Beth Behrs, while "Law & Order: SVU" star Mariska Hargitay commented, "So awesome court!"

Some fans of the show demanded, "Just revive the series already." Another wrote, "Waiting on that reunion."

They were referring to the HBO Max "Friends" reunion special with all the six stars that was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Giving an update on it, Perry tweeted in November 2020: "Friends reunion being rescheduled for the beginning of March. Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that's the way I like it!"

HBO chief Casey Bloys also confirmed in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly that the cast is scheduled to come back together for the HBO Max special "this spring."

Kudrow shared last month that she has already filmed a segment for the reunion.

"I pre-shot something for it already so we're definitely doing it, because I already shot a little something," the 57-year-old actress told Rob Lowe during an episode of his podcast "Literally! With Rob Lowe."

Meanwhile, Cox also made fans happy in November when she recreated a scene from a Thanksgiving episode of the show ahead of production for the reunion special.

"I’m feeling so thankful," Cox began her Instagram video. She also said that if she sees one more GIF of herself "with a turkey on my head dancing like a f-----g fool, I’m just gonna snap."

"So anyhow, since I’m the symbol of Thanksgiving, here you go, hope it makes you happy," she said before doing the turkey dance.
