A fake blooper scene from 1999's "Toy Story 2" has discretely been deleted by Disney due to the "casting couch" it features, according to Deadline. These blooper reels were familiar inclusions on early Pixar films and would often feature characters flubbing lines and pulling pranks. The decision to pull the clip was reportedly prompted by the similarities it shared with real-life occurrences surrounding the #MeToo movement.

In the now-deleted segment, which aired during the animated film's credits, a character named Stinky Pete the Prospector tells two Barbies that he can get them a movie role.

"And, so, you two are absolutely identical?" Stinky Pete ask the two dolls while laughing and grabbing one of their hands before adding, "You know, I'm sure I could get you a part in 'Toy Story 3.'"

Eventually, he realizes he's being watched and escorts the dolls out of the area while mentioning that they are welcome to come back whenever they need acting tips. This clip, which can be seen below, shows the particular scene beginning at the 3:27 mark.

The alignment with the #MeToo movement reportedly propelled Disney and Pixar Animation to pull the scene from future home releases of the beloved animated movie. The deletion of the scene will reportedly affect Blu-ray and downloadable versions of the film moving forward.

As noted by Deadline, this decision also comes on the heels of John Lasseter, the Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios chief creative officer, exiting his roles in 2018 after his own misconduct allegations.

The news comes weeks after the theatrical release of "Toy Story 4."
