Watch: Harry Styles Shows Fans How Much He Missed The Stage During Las Vegas Concert
Harry Styles performed with so much enthusiasm in his solo concert at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, giving his fans a glimpse of how much he missed being onstage.
The sold-out show was Style's first full-length gig in nearly two years. It is also the first among a series of shows for his "Love on Tour" concert.
At the show, the audience felt the energy of Styles' performance and enjoyed the night.
"The energy in the room was electric!" a source told E! "You could tell how much he missed being on stage. It was one of the best shows I've ever been to!"
Styles performed almost all songs from the 2019 album "Fine Line" on Saturday, including "Watermelon Sugar," "Lights Up" and "Treat People with Kindness." The singer also performed a handful of tracks from his debut album, including "Sign of the Times," "Kiwi" and "Only Angel" and of course, the crowd favorite, One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful."
Styles previously performed songs from the "Fine Line" album in a live setting quite a few times before the pandemic hit, Rolling Stone noted.
Although Styles had a "slight mishap on stage," the singer handled it so well and did not make a big deal out of it, the E! News source said. "He slipped and fell for a second. He recovered and then sprayed the crowd with water."
Jenny Lewis' was the opening act of the "Love On Tour" event. The next stop on the tour will be Denver, Colorado, on Tuesday.
Fans had to either show proof of vaccination or produce a COVID-19 negative report in order to attend the show.
Styles' girlfriend, Olivia Wilde, was also spotted at his concert.
"She was so happy and dancing all night! It was very cute. She was singing along to almost every song...and having a good time with the people she was with," one perosn told E!
The "Love on Tour" show was initially planned to begin in April 2020 but it was changed due to the pandemic. Styles in July announced the new tour dates and venues.
"As always, the well-being of my fans, band, and crew, is my top priority. Safety guidelines will be available on the respective venue websites to ensure we can all be together as safely as possible. Please notice that some dates have changed, and new shows have been added," he wrote.
