Watch: Man Slams Dog On The Floor For Huge Medical Bill

A video of a man has gone viral after he was seen slamming his pet dog because of its hefty veterinary bills.

To make it even worse, the irresponsible pet owner did the unlawful act inside the veterinarian's clinic.

According to a post, the incident happened in Fuyang City of Anhui province. The veterinary clinic said that the dog was admitted to the clinic due to a heart failure.

The dog remained at the clinic for four days, it added.

What triggered the man was the fact that the dog's medical bills had reached around 500 to 600 yuan, or roughly around $70-$80.

The animal doctor offered to help save the dog and will only charge the owner for a fee only “if they managed to do so.” However, if the dog dies during the treatment, the clinic won't charge the man.

They asked the dog owner for an extra 300 yuan, or $42, to buy a half carton of powdered milk. The request triggered the man, who then insisted to take the sick dog home.

At this point, the veterinarian asked the man to settle his bill.

“If the dog is dead, you won't ask for money, right?” said the man.

The CCTV footage showed a uniformed staff was about to put the canine back in its cage when the owner suddenly grabbed the animal by force, hurled it over his shoulders and slammed the helpless animal on the floor.

Seemingly not satisfied, the owner kicked the dog on the head, twice.

The dog can be then seen limp on the floor, while the staff was seemingly shocked by the otherworldly incident. A young girl, who saw the whole thing even went to the defense of the dog. Despite the huge size and age difference, the girl shoved and kicked the man aside.

The video was uploaded by Mothership.sg on their Twitter page Sunday, but the date stamp on the footage suggested that it was recorded on October 2, 2019.

The dog survived the ruthless beating, said the veterinarian on a separate interview. He added that he couldn't bear to see the dog suffer and die, so he allowed the man to take the dog home and disregarded the remaining amount.

Netizens posted a barrage of comments, condemning the man and his foul actions. Some of them even said that the girl who came to aid the dog, will be traumatized.

They even reckoned that she was the daughter, and was lucky that she wasn't the one who was admitted.
