Watch: Massive Brawl Breaks Out At Miami Airport, 1 Arrested

One person has been arrested after a brawl broke out Sunday afternoon at Miami International Airport, local police said.

Footage of the brawl shared on Twitter by documentary film director Billy Corben showed at least seven people participating in two fights happening in front of an Urban Decay store in gate D-14's waiting area.

The larger group of four are seen grappling each other next to a kiosk while the group of three are seen pinning and punching each other as spectators keep their distance.

One person is heard telling the two groups, "Hey, stop it man. Guys, stop it, it's an airport. Guys, stop it," before calling for security.

The person is later heard saying, "Guys come on. Stop or you're gonna f-----g kill him. Stop it."

Other bystanders are also heard calling for the participants to disengage while attempting to call security.

Security officers can be seen at the end of the video breaking up the fighting.

Airport officials said police immediately responded to the scene, the Miami Herald reported.

According to an email from Miami-Dade Police, "The victim did not want to press any charges. However, one person was arrested for disorderly conduct."

They pointed out, "The victim was treated by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue for minor injuries and released on the scene."

A witness told Local 10 News that the brawl allegedly started over plane seat availability.

The identities of the victim, the person arrested and the rest of the participants of the altercation were not released.

A similar incident occurred in another Florida airport last month after a group of passengers were kicked off a plane for refusing to wear face masks and started a brawl.

Three women were seen in the phone-captured footage of the March 19 incident punching each other and pulling each others' hair at an American Airlines terminal in Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

Authorities said prior to the fight, the women were met with boos from other passengers waiting at the gate due to the delay they caused. The fight reportedly broke out after they exchanged words with one another.
