A British woman was caught on camera exposing her rear while participating in a school race.
Katie Hannaford, of Basildon in Essex, joined a parents' race on her 8-year-old daughters' school sports day after the latter had convinced her to run despite the mother knowing she would come in last, the Nottingham Post reported.
Unfortunately, Hannaford fell after losing her footing, resulting in her dress flying over her head and her underwear being revealed, according to 7News.com.au.
"I just tripped over my own feet – I think my body was just moving too fast for my legs! I’m so clumsy, I’m always falling over," the 36-year-old said.
Hannaford flashed students, parents and teachers cheering from the sidelines, footage of the incident showed.
One adult directly behind Hannaford at the time can be seen covering her face over the accidental "mooning."
While Hannaford was initially mortified by the incident, she found the blunder "hilarious" afterward.
"I was humiliated at the time, but it is what it is! I flashed my underwear, which is obviously embarrassing but you just have to own it. Looking back, it’s hilarious – definitely the funniest thing I’ve ever done in my life!" the mother explained.
"If you can’t laugh at yourself then what’s life about, ay?" she said.
Hannaford's daughter ended up coming in first place in her respective race.
In another story, a terminally ill 55-year-old man in Worcestershire, England, got arrested after flashing his bare butt at a speed camera van last year to fulfill a bucket list wish.
Darrell Meekcom, 55, "flashed [his] bum" at a speed camera van positioned along Stourbridge Road in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, on Nov. 5.
Meekcom had wanted to check off the act from his bucket list, which he wrote after getting diagnosed a month before the incident with multiple system atrophy, a terminal condition affecting the nervous system.
Police later arrested Meekcom, but his vision blurred and he suffered a seizure during the arrest.
Meekcom was set to appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court on May 17 over threatening behavior and obstruction charges.
