Watch Nicki Minaj 'Super Bass' Cover Princess Sing Adele [VIDEO]
The Nicki Minaj 'Super Bass' cover princess is back.
Less than one month after appearing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Sophia Grace Brownlee and her cousin Rosie returned to the daytime talk show to sing Adele's Rolling in the Deep.
Brownlee, 8, did not disappoint in the a cappella performance of the Adele hit.
Back were the princess costumes, princess crowns and Rosie as Brownlee's personal hype girl (Minaj has her own hype man in her music videos and live performances).
Before the Adele cover, Brownlee and Rosie, 5, sat down with DeGeneres to talk about their whirlwind journey since their Super Bass YouTube video went viral in September. (The video has since received more than 20 million views).
I really wanted to come back on the Ellen Show and I'm here again! said Brownlee, who revealed that her tooth recently fell out.
At 3 in the morning it fell out. I couldn't find it, it was under my pillow . . . [I got] 2 pounds and I had to buy something, I couldn't save my money, I had to buy something, she said.
The first time the British girls were on the show, DeGeneres surprised the two with Minaj, who told them to concentrate on school before music and fame.
We feel like we are watching a journey that's about to be amazing. Stay in school. Music is beautiful. But I want you to stay in school, OK? Put your books first and singing second, Minaj said at the time.
Oh that was just so good. I couldn't get to sleep that night. We went out to celebrate in the restaurant and my dad drank champagne. And then me and Rosie, we woke up at the same time and we were in a limousine, Brownlee said.
The Adele cover, up on the Ellen YouTube channel since Monday, has already received more than 500,000 views.
On the show, DeGeneres also surprised the two with news that they were going to be correspondents at the American Music Awards (cue little girl screams).
Scroll down to watch Sophia Brownlee and her cousin Rosie perform Adele's Rolling in the Deep (fast forward to the 6:30 mark for the actual song).
