Watch Paula Patton In ABC’s ‘Somewhere Between’ Trailer As Laura Price
Paula Patton will play the lead role in ABC’s upcoming series killer drama, “Somewhere Between.”
Ahead of the show’s special July 24 premiere, ABC dropped a chilling trailer for the new series that introduces Patton’s character, Laura Price. Laura is a news producer who works with police officials to track down a serial killer. The lead character will soon realize that the killer strikes very close to home, but when she is given the chance to relive the events that happened a week earlier, she will try to stop the murder from happening. Laura will also find out that she has a direct connection with the mysterious killer, and the only way to end the killing spree is for her to sacrifice something.

The 30-second clip opens with Laura and her family having a blast during her birthday celebration. In the next scene, Laura has a conversation with another woman who tells her that she will lose something very important to her. She immediately thinks about her husband and daughter, but is unconvinced that what the woman said is true.
But when the people close to her start dying, including her daughter, Laura will take matters into her own hands. The unnamed woman informs her that the only way to stop the murders is to fight the mysterious serial killer. In the final scene of the promo, Laura hugs her daughter on her bed and tells her that she’s going to fight and win so that no one could hurt her.
“Somewhere Between” also stars Devon Sawa as private investigator Nico Jackson, JR Bourne as Laura’s husband Tom, who works as a district attorney, and Aria Birch as Laura’s daughter Serena, according to TV Line.
According to Deadline, “Somewhere Between” will have a total of 10 episodes for Season 1, all of which were filmed in Vancouver. The show was ordered straight to series in December by ABC after the cancellation of “Mistresses.” “Somewhere Between” follows a Korean format and is written by Stephen Tolkin. He also serves as executive producer alongside Ivan Fecan and Joseph Broido.
