The time has come to say goodbye to their Vegas homes for good on “Sister Wives,” but their move still won’t be something that comes easily for the Brown family.

In a preview clip for the newest Season 8 episode of the TLC show, Kody, Robyn, Janelle, Meri and Christine are officially packing up their lives and saying goodbye to the years they’ve lived in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, while the family was committed to making the trek and starting over in Flagstaff, Arizona, it’s clear in the clip that it’s hard for all of them—including Kody, who was insistent that the move happen in the first place.

“This is goodbye,” a tearful Kody says in the clip. “It’s just breaking my heart.”

However, if the family felt their problems and drama were going to end as they packed their stuff into vans and left Nevada, it appears their final 24 hours will still see some issues for them. Specifically, they will face a tough time as Maddie, Janelle and Kody’s daughter reminds them that she, her husband, Caleb, and their son, Axel, are staying behind, no matter how much the family tries to convince them to make the move.

In the clip, Maddie confronts her family for trying to convince her to leave, pointing out that she isn’t the one who planned to move, so if they’re concerned about leaving their grandson when they leave, it isn’t because of something she has done.

“I think it’s funny because my family is sitting here and trying too hard to convince us to move. They’re acting like we’re leaving them and we’re the ones that are taking Axel, but I’m like, ‘look, we moved here to be closer to you guys, and you’re the ones moving now,’” she says in an interview portion of the clip.

She also admits that she would be hesitant to follow them anyway because she knows her family—and she doesn’t think Flagstaff will be the last time they change locations, so she isn’t going to uproot her own family just to follow them around.

“I’m kind of bitter because I moved here so that they could be closer to their grandson and to be closer to family,” she says. “I do believe it takes a village to raise kids, but my parents tend to move a lot, and I’m not going to follow them around the country. I’m going to do what’s best for my family.”

“I will be surprised if Flagstaff is their final destination. They get bored, really easy. All of them,” she adds. “And they’re all going to point fingers and say that the other one does, but they all get bored really easy. I think Robyn’s the only one that wants to stay put. So what happens if I move to Flagstaff and follow them, and they get bored and leave? I can’t do that again.”

“Sister Wives” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
