Comedian and actor Hannibal Buress was arrested Saturday night in Miami on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly intoxication, according to the Miami Herald. A video was captured of the 34-year-old Chicago native being arrested, which was quickly spread on social media.

“Explain what I’m detained for,” Buress requested of the police officer in the video. Eventually, an officer respond with “for trespassing.” Buress was not charged with trespassing.

Onlookers asked the cops what property he was trespassing on and who called them, but they didn’t respond.

“You’re goofy as f---,” Buress told the police. "You don't have probable cause for anything and you're hella stupid right now."

Buress was booked into jail at 1:57 a.m. Sunday morning and posted bail before 6 a.m., according to the Herald. Buress was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night in the neighborhood of Wynwood, which is currently hosting events related to the international art festival Art Basel.

The arrest report for Buress wasn't available Sunday and it's unclear what led to his arrest.

Buress is known for his stand up comedy, releasing his first album, “My Name is Hannibal,” in 2010. He also is known for bringing attention to sexual assault allegations against fellow comedian Bill Cosby.

Buress has been featured in several shows such as “Louie” and “Broad City.” This year he was featured in the films “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and “Baywatch.”
