Whoopi Goldberg and Meghan McCain may not be hanging out anytime soon. During Monday’s episode of “The View,” the two ABC co-hosts got into a heated argument and Goldberg lost her temper on McCain.

According to The Daily Beast, it all started when Joy Behar, another co-host and a liberal, was having a debate with Abby Huntsman, a conservative panelist, and McCain about the difference between President Trump officials declining to testify during the impeachment proceedings and former vice president Joe Biden also refusing to go under oath.

Co-host Sunny Hostin then proceeded to state that the same Republicans who convicted Bill Clinton of perjury when he was president are the same people who are siding with President Trump. “That is the height of hypocrisy for this Republican-led Senate,” Hostin said.

“My job here is not to litigate the ethics of it," McCain responded. "I’m an ABC political analyst along with being a ‘View’ co-host. My job is to analyze the politics of it.”

This response quickly turned into Hostin and McCain talking over each other and that’s when Goldberg decided to step in and try to change the direction of the argument. While Goldberg was trying to do this, McCain kept talking over her. Goldberg then apparently had enough and told McCain to stop talking.

“Girl please stop talking,” Goldberg said. “Please stop talking right now.”

McCain agreed and sarcastically added that she wouldn’t talk for the rest of the show.

“I'm okay with that if you’re going to behave like this,” Goldberg added.

The two bickered a little more and Goldberg tried making it clear to McCain that she kept talking over people. After trying to once again change subjects, Goldberg eventually had to tell viewers that the show would be right back. The hosts used the commercial break to collect themselves and remain professional on the air.
