Wells Adams and his fiancée, Sarah Hyland, will have to plan their wedding for the third time as they have been forced to postpone it for the second time.
Adams said in a new interview with Us Weekly that he hopes the third time's the charm when it comes to his and the "Modern Family" alum's nuptials.
"Wedding update — nothing!" the "Bachelor in Paradise" bartender told the outlet. "We’ve had this thing postponed twice and honestly, I don’t know if I can take a third one. So just pray for us, please."
Adams and Hyland have been together since 2017 and got engaged in 2019. Their wedding was initially set for Aug. 20, 2020, but they were forced to cancel it due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They marked the occasion by sharing an all-white photo shoot.
“It was my first time out of my house in quarantine, and we went to a winery and we went with all of our friends — all of us got tested — our family, our best man, maid of honor,” Hyland said when she appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in October 2020. "I brought a white dress and a veil I got on Etsy and my bridesmaids got a real wedding bouquet and surprised me and we took fake wedding pictures for fun!"
The ABC reality star earlier rejected the idea of getting married on "Bachelor in Paradise."
"No way because my brother’s best man speech would probably make air and I don’t know if I’m ready for that," he told Us Weekly when asked about rumors that Hyland was one of the rotating celebrity guest hosts for the beach spinoff.
"I saw the rumors that Sarah was supposed to come down. … I can’t confirm that," Adams added. "I can confirm that David Spade‘s down there and Lance Bass is down there, and Lil Jon is down there and Titus [Burgess] is down there. I’m down there. I don’t know about Sarah coming down there."
But while they have yet to tie the knot, the couple reportedly acquired their dream home in May. Hyland and her fiancé purchased a lavish, family-size estate in the Studio City neighborhood in Los Angeles for $4 million, Variety reported.
Their well-gated, 6,000-square-foot mansion has five spacious bedrooms and six and a half baths. It also features a fireplace-equipped living room, glassy walk-in wine closet, formal dining room, home theater and eat-in-kitchen with a Subaru-sized center island.
"Bachelor in Paradise" returns to ABC on Aug. 16 at 8 p.m. EDT
