Wendy Williams Keeps Herself Busy Amid Crumbling Marriage, Ex Kevin Hunter’s Demand

Wendy Williams appears to be keeping herself busy in the wake of her crumbling marriage to estranged husband Kevin Hunter. The talk show host was recently spotted leaving her Manhattan studio with a serious expression on her face.

On Wednesday, Williams was photographed exiting the studio where she’s filming “The Wendy Williams Show.” Fresh from her set, the media personality rocked her long blonde hair while donning a more casual get-up comprising a black V-neck T-shirt, olive green jacket, black cropped leggings and white sneakers.

Williams, who also wore large sunglasses to protect her eyes during the sunny outing, appeared to have a bit of a swollen ankle in the photos obtained by Daily Mail. In some snaps, Wendy is seen biting her lower lip while looking somber.

The fashion designer, who has reportedly amassed a net worth of $40 million, carried two luxury bags during the outing. She had a large white leather Chanel bag and a blue and beige printed Christian Dior tote.

Last month, the queen of daytime television officially filed a petition to divorce Hunter, who has been her husband for more than 20 years. This week, TMZ revealed that Kevin is demanding for spousal support as well as child support for their 18-year-old son, Kevin Jr. Hunter reportedly wants his ex-wife to pay for Kevin Jr.’s college expenses.

Wendy has not responded to her husband’s request so far. However, she grabbed the opportunity to diss Hunter’s alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson, during a recent taping of her talk show. While doing her “Hot Topics” segment, she threw shade at the massage therapist for having an affair with her husband behind her back.

“There are a lot of women with no respect for a marriage. You know what I’m saying? A lot of women who know your man is married and will have the nerve to be right up under him and right up under your nose,” Williams said.

News of Hunter’s affair and Hudson giving birth to their rumored love child surfaced earlier this year. Towards the end of 2018 Williams took a break from her show due to medical reasons, and she decided to prolong her hiatus when the affair got exposed. When she came back, Wendy tried to save her marriage and she even slammed the cheating rumors by saying that her wedding ring is not “going anywhere, not in this lifetime.”
