Fans of "The Wendy Williams Show" were likely disappointed when they heard that she was going on hiatus due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the wait may be shorter than initially anticipated.

On Sunday night, the talk show host took to Instagram to share that she will be returning to the spotlight via her YouTube channel until she can go back to her studio.

After stating that she was "enjoying home" and accomplishing things she had never thought about before her time away from the "Wendy" show, she added that she had also been spending time on the phone with people that she had not previously had time for.

At the end of the post, which can be seen below, she then said that her fans could see her on her YouTube channel on Monday night. However, details have remained scarce in terms of what those who tune in will be able to see.

This development follows the popular daytime talk show deciding to initially film new episodes without live audiences due to the coronavirus outbreak. On March 10, Williams shared the previous announcement on her social media. At that time, she stated that while she "values her co-hosts and their daily participation," those at the show decided that it was best to forgo the in-studio audience due to the "current health climate."

Aside from the recent changes that have been seen at "The Wendy Williams Show," the host herself has also experienced some disruption in her personal life over the last year. After revealing to viewers that she and her now-ex-husband, Kevin Hunter, were separating, it was reported that she worked to remove "any trace" of him from her office.

Other reports have also emerged that stated that she had once been considering taking him back as her manager. However, Williams herself once discussed the fact that Hunter allegedly played a big part in controlling her business decisions.
