Were the Miami Heat Literally Crying After a Loss?
Have the Miami Heat been reduced to tears?
South Florida Sun Sentinel reporter Ira Winderman went on Twitter and wrote that Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said, There are a couple of guys crying there in the locker room.
Spoelstra told the same thing in a post-game news conference. ABC/ESPN broadcasters confirmed at halftime of the Lakers-Spurs game that there were reports of Heat players weeping.
Still no word on what specific players were shedding tears, but word apparently is getting around.
The Heat lost a very close game to the Chicago Bulls on their home court. Miami has lost four games in a row.
Teams often lose close games, and go on a losing streaks, but it's rare for players to cry.
