What Is 'Build The Wall Protest'? Trump's Agreement To Hold Off Funding For Border Wall Angers Supporters
President Donald Trump showed signals of holding off funding for the construction of U.S.-Mexico border wall Monday, just days ahead of a government shutdown deadline. By softening his stance on the funding for border wall, Trump has cleared one of the biggest hurdles for passage of the current expenditure bill that will expire at the end of the week, according to the White House.
The focus will be to increase funding for White House priorities like the military and other types of border security, according to the White House.

Although, Trump was determined to build the border wall soon, Republican lawmakers on Capitol Hill were insisting in an expenditure bill that included no funding for the wall, the Washington Post reported.
To protest Trump's withdrawal of funds for the construction of border wall, a 'Build The Wall Protest' will be held in Washington D.C. Thursday. The protestors will demand for a full funding for a wall on the Southern Border with Mexico. In the event invite, the organizers said protestors, who had voted for Trump and supported his campaigning for the border wall construction are ready to compromise on some aspects of the border wall. For example, they will accept a 25-foot wall instead of a 30-foot one, however, they will not accept "a few cameras, a fence, or nothing at all". The event will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. EDT.
Trump's decision of cutting the funds for the border wall came ahead of threats of government shutdown, which would have been disastrous for Republicans, who control both chambers of Congress and the White House. It would also come on Trump's 100th day in office, a significant milestone for the Trump administration that threatens to be overshadowed if Congress and the White House fail to keep the government open, Guardian reported.
