What Does Gavin Rossdale Have To Say About His Ex-Wife Gwen Stefani?

Gavin Rossdale is finally breaking his silence about ex-wife Gwen Stefani and their divorce after nearly two years.

While speaking with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, the singer had nothing but positive words to say about his wife of 13 years and girlfriend of seven years. “We had 20 years together and that in itself is pretty incredible. It’s a lifetime. I still think she’s incredible. It was a lovely 20 years and we have three amazing children. There were a lot of positives, and with time they’ll become more and more obvious,” he said.

Even though Rossdale is in a much better place these days, the “Adrenaline” singer admitted that divorce was one of the most painful things he had to go through in his life since he did not want it. Still, he tried to remain strong for the sake of their three children. “For me, it was about being solid for them, and silent but respectful for Gwen. That’s what I’ll be forever,” he said.

Meanwhile, since divorcing from Rossdale, Stefani has moved on with her fellow “The Voice” coach, Blake Shelton. The couple started dating over a year ago.

Rossdale, on the other hand, is still single and is not interested in dating anytime soon. The “Love Remains the Same” singer joked that his three kids already want him to find a girlfriend. He shared that the boys keep checking his phone whenever a name pops up.

Rossdale and Stefani reportedly ended their relationship after the former allegedly became involved with their children’s nanny. The “Wind It Up” singer cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason for her divorce filing.
