What Happened To Babs? Whitney Way Thore Gives Update Before 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' Season 4 Premiere

While incessantly promoting Season 4 of “My Big Fat Fabulous Life,” TLC reality star Whitney Way Thore took a break to give an update on her mother, Babs, who suffered a stroke and several seizures over the weekend. Thore took to Facebook to bring her fans the latest development her mother.

“Thank you for all the prayers, good vibes, and well wishes!” the 32-year-old dancer wrote Monday, hours after she announced her mother’s heath scare. “I hope you tune in to #MyBigFatFabLife tomorrow night at 9/8c on TLC. My family is so grateful for your love and support. Babs says hi!!”

She accompanied the post with a video message from Babs. “Where are you?” Thore asks in the clip. “Same place I was last night,” Babs responds from a hospital bed, holding onto her daughter’s hand. “Where is that?” Thore asks. “Hell,” Babs says, slightly grinning.

The video was watched more than 120,000 times by Thore’s 440,000 Facebook followers. The clip garnered more than 9,000 reactions and hundreds of comments.

It’s unclear if Bab’s health scare will be featured on Season 4.

“This is undoubtedly the most traumatic thing my family has ever experienced but if anyone possesses the strength to make it through, we know it's Mom!” Thore wrote in a Monday TLC blog. “If Babs has ever made you laugh, or cry, or cry from laughing, please keep her in your thoughts today. Any prayers, well wishes, and good vibes are welcome! My mother has so enjoyed coming into your living rooms each week and we'd like to keep her there! We love and appreciate each one of you!”
