What Happened To ‘My 600-Lb Life’ Season 5 Star Nicole Lewis?

On the Wednesday night episode of “My 600-Lb Life: Where Are They Now?,” one of the people viewers are reunited with is Season 5 subject, Nicole Lewis. The mother of two reached out to Dr. Nowzaradan after realizing her eating habits and massive weight gain would eventually leave her children without a mom.

At 23-years-old, Nicole weighed well over 700 pounds due to her emotional connection to food. As a child, Nicole’s parents were drug addicts who failed to provide a safe space for their daughter.

During her episode, the subject revealed her mother would often go into screaming rages when there were no more drugs left. Frightened by her mother’s behavior, Nicole turned to food for comfort and explained that being full made her feel safe.

Although her eating habits became out of control, Nicole was eventually able to adjust to Dr. Now’s diet plan and begin her weight loss journey.

In the latest of episode of “My 600-Lb Life,” Nicole’s weight loss journey is threatened when she is evicted from her home and forced to move back to Ohio, away from Dr. Now.

While it may take her some time to adjust to going back to her hometown with a brand new diet plan, it doesn’t look like Nicole has let the move affect her weight loss journey. On Saturday, she posted a selfie on Facebook, while asking others to share photos of themselves.

Nicole’s friends and fans complimented the subject in the post and applauded her for continuing her weight loss journey.

In an earlier post, Nicole revealed she was attempting to rejoin the workforce after years of being held back by her weight. “Job interview on Tuesday! Wish me luck... it’s been about 4 years! But since I’ve regained my life... why not work, Finish school, and be a full time momma! Hustle and flow baby!!!! Pray I get this job,” she wrote on July 2.

While Nicole was able to adjust to life in Ohio, viewers will have to wait to see what she and her family went through in order to continue the weight loss journey that has given her a second chance at life.

“My 600-Lb Life: Where Are They Now?” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
