What Happened To Natica Harris? Cleveland Woman’s Disappearance Goes Viral After Kenneka Jenkins' Death

Popular Cleveland host Natica Harris was found after going missing for more than 24 hours. Blogs like Media Take Out and Bossip ran with the story after Harris was last seen hosting a party for the Howard University homecoming party in D.C., according to her sister, Troya.

“The police [have] located her,” Troya wrote on Instagram Monday. “Thanks for all the reposts.” She didn’t divulge what happened to Harris or what her current state was.

Hours earlier, however, Troya posted a frantic message where she asked people to help find her sister. “Still haven’t reached out to anyone. We now know for sure made it back to the hotel (Hyatt Regency in Tyson, VA) from the day party (Rosebar in Washington, D.C.), which was 20 minutes away, but crossing state lines.”

Troya became worried when a hotel manger went to check Harris’ room. The host wasn’t there, but her personal items remained behind.

“Nothing at the HOSPITALS OR JAILS! Please REPOST Help us find her!” Troya captioned the post.

Troya took to social media after not hearing from Harris for 8 hours. “She was hosting a college party last night in WASHINGTON,DC no one has talked to or seen her since yesterday!” she wrote.

In a subsequent post Troya added: “We can't make a police report until the 24HR she wouldn't just go away w/o calling or answering. Her CO WORKERS (OTHER PROMOS) ALL HER BELONGINGS were left behind.”

Even though she was located, Harris' disappearance still made waves on social media Monday.

Harris, 19, took to Instagram Saturday to share a video of herself hosting the party with her . By Monday, the clip had been viewed nearly 100,000 times.

The host’s apparent disappearance went viral on blogs and social media, where some netizens claimed informed other followers had been found.

“Glad she was found. I wonder where she was and what happened,” black_beauty1987 wrote.

“ppl want attention and followers so bad that they'll do anything. I guarantee u she was never missing,” chaddnelson247 added.

While amateur sleuths claimed foul play was involved, police said it was a heartbreaking case of underage drinking.

Jenkins, 19, was found dead last month. Conspiracy theories swirled on the internet, with some claiming her friends set her up to her raped so they could profit off it. Others assumed she was the victim of an organ trafficking ring.

Jenkins’ death was a “sad” accident.

“Our detectives reported no signs of foul play throughout the whole investigation,” Chief Donald E. Stephens III with the Rosemont Police Department said in a statement. “There is no evidence that Ms. Jenkins was forced to drink alcohol or consume any narcotics while at the hotel.”
