What Happened To Sean Kingston? Singer Jumped By Migos After Argument Over Soulja Boy
Sean Kingston was badly beaten up by the rap group Migos at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas Tuesday afternoon, TMZ reported. The brawl started after someone from Kingston’s camp fired a shot after an argument involving Soulja Boy.
Three members of Migos kicked Kingston and also stomped on his head, law enforcement sources TMZ. The alleged shooter and another person were taken into custody, but no charges were filed, a Las Vegas Police Department spokesman told the New York Daily News.
According to sources, Kingston and those belonging to the Migos left the scene by the time police arrived. However, the "Beautiful Girl" singer was pulled over for a traffic stop and became "semi-cooperative," TMZ reported. Police were also planning to speak to the Migos about the incident early Wednesday.
While there are no reports of any earlier feuds between Kingston and Migos, Tuesday's altercation could be related to comments the Jamaican R&B singer made about Quvo — one of the three Migos — over social media back in December, when he accused the latter of backing out of a fight against Soulja Boy.
Social media reacted to the Kingston-Migos altercation, saying that they are waiting to see the video of the alleged fight. Below are some tweets:
Previous reports have suggested that Kingston was involved in the feud between Meek Mill and The Game. The Philadelphia rapper and The Game slammed each other on social media and also released diss tracks.
Meanwhile, Soulja Boy recently made headlines after a feud broke out between him and Chris Brown over Karrueche Tran. The drama erupted when Soulja Boy liked a sexy Instagram photo shared by Brown's ex. Soulja Boy later took to social media to tell fans that Brown called him, threatening him over the "like." The two stars also announced that they would have a boxing match, for which Soulja Boy was reportedly trained by Evander Holyfield, while Brown asked for Mike Tyson’s help.
