They’re one of the most famous couples in the world and have very busy schedules not only as members of the royal family but also as parents of three children. However, that doesn’t mean that Prince William and Kate Middleton don’t still make time for themselves and their relationship.

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, though the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been together for nearly twenty years already, the pair do still make sure to work on their relationship by engaging in some regular date nights. However, despite having the world and endless wealth at their disposal to go wherever they could want when they get that chance, the couple reportedly prefers their time together to be somewhat more low-key and far from extravagant.

“Kate loves nothing more than ordering Indian takeaway and eating it from a dinner tray on the couch while watching a bit of Netflix with William,” a source previously said.

As for what the couple likes to watch together, they reportedly used to like watching HBO’s juggernaut series “Game of Thrones” together, but they’re currently watching more of “Bodyguard.”

Of course, while the couple may make time together to have date nights, something that is often encouraged in relationships, especially for busy parents, it doesn’t mean the couple’s marriage has always been on solid ground, and they even had to come back from false rumors that Prince William had an affair with Rose Hanbury while his wife was pregnant with their third child earlier this year.

However, while the rumors of an affair were upsetting for the Duchess, a source previously revealed that they also helped the couple when it came to their marriage as well, because it forced them to really look at their relationship and determine what was best for them.

“Kate found the rumors hurtful, obviously, and hates the thought that one day her children will be able to read about them online,” a source said at the time. “It forced her and William to sit back and examine their relationship, which they realized they should have been doing more often.”

“It’s not unusual to have a few hiccups in a marriage, especially after eight years, and Kate and William are no different,” the source added. “They’re still going strong. Regardless of their ups and downs, they love each other dearly and their kids are the most important thing in their lives.”
