What Meghan Markle Really Thinks Of Prince Harry As First-Time Dad
Meghan Markle recently opened up about her husband, Prince Harry, becoming a first-time dad.
During the royal couple’s trip to Birkenhead, royal fan and mother-of-three Rebecca Blundell asked the Duchess of Sussex if she was excited about her baby’s upcoming arrival. The “Suits” alum said that she was thrilled.
Markle also gushed over the Duke of Sussex and told their fans that she thinks he will be a fantastic dad. Markle and Prince Harry will welcome their first child in the spring and on Monday, the former actress revealed that her due date is at the end of April.
While speaking with People, royal fan Carla Gandy said that Markle deliberately told her that she was six months pregnant while tapping on her growing baby bump. Birkenhead resident Kim Thompson was also told by Markle that she may give birth early May.
“Another woman in the crowd joked that she was a trained midwife. Meghan said that one of her friends had given birth five weeks early and the midwife said the baby comes when they are ready,” Thompson said.
The royal fan also told Markle that as long as the baby is healthy, she shouldn’t worry.
In related news, Markle also hinted at a possible baby name if she will give birth to a girl, but she did clarify that she and Prince Harry opted to not know their baby’s gender beforehand.
Royal correspondent Omid Scobie revealed that several royal fans that came out at Birkenhead suggested names for Markle and Prince Harry’s baby. A little girl suggested the name Amy, and the Duchess of Sussex said that she liked it. Markle also pointed out at her assistant private secretary, Amy Pickerill, and told the young girl that Amy is her name.
But it seems highly unlikely for Markle and Prince Harry to give their daughter an American first name. Bookies have suggested that the couple’s offspring will be called Diana as a tribute to the late Princess of Wales. If they will have a baby boy, he may be called Albert.
