What Sofia Richie Said About Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian Before Split

Sofia Richie spoke about her relationship with Scott Disick and his ex Kourtney Kardashian before their split.

Just recently, Richie and Disick’s split was confirmed. However, before they parted ways, Richie spoke about their relationship with Cosmopolitan.

Disick and Richie started dating in 2017. The Lord of Disick is 16 years her senior. However, according to Richie, their age difference didn’t matter to her.

“This weird thing where I just don’t care what people think,” Richie said.

“Doesn’t bother me because I’m very happy. Why would I let someone from the middle of nowhere ruin that for me?”

The huge age gap isn’t new to Richie because her mom, Diane Alexander, and dad, Lionel Richie, are 18 years apart in terms of age. Although her parents are no longer together, Richie considers them “perfect.” They were also fine with her dating Disick.

During the interview, Richie was asked about her relationship with Disick’s former partner Kourtney Kardashian.

“I mean, just be nice. There’s no reason not to be nice,” she responded.

According to Richie, she has known the Kardashians since she was a teenager. She’s friends with Kourtney’s younger sister Kylie Jenner ever since they were 14. So, for her, when it comes to the Kardashian-Jenner clan, “No one’s new friend.”

Richie has also appeared on “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” However, earlier this year, she announced that she would not be making any cameo on the reality show.

“Well, because I want to get into acting!” Richie said.

“I feel like, for a while, I kind of held back on things because I was afraid of failure, but 2020 is [the year of] no fear! I'm gonna be doing acting stuff really soon. Great things are happening and I'm really excited about it.”

Meanwhile, Richie and Disick’s split was not surprising. The exes had an on-again, off-again relationship for three years and earlier this month, they reportedly took a break in their relationship.

“Sofia and Scott breaking up was only a matter of time. Scott isn’t the best version of himself right now and it has been a lot for Sofia,” a source told Us Weekly.

Richie was sad about their split but had to take care of herself. Meanwhile, Kourtney and the rest of the Kardashians are trying their best to support Disick.
