'Tis the season ... to watch "A Christmas Story."

Like clockwork, the TNT and TBS networks will grace fans of the Christmas holiday film with their annual marathon. This year, it begins on Tuesday, Dec 24 (Christmas Eve) at 8 p.m. EST on TBS. This first showing on TNT starts at 9 p.m. EST.

The 1983 comedy, often ranked as one of the best Christmas films, centers around a young boy named Ralphie Parker who attempts to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun really is the perfect Christmas gift.

Tuning in live to one of the networks isn't the only way viewers can catch this holiday classic. "A Christmas Story" is also available for streaming on TNT's digital site. In addition, Amazon Prime, iTunes, Google, and Vudu offers rental and/or purchase options for the film.
