What Time Does ‘A Christmas Story’ Come On TV? 2018 Schedule
It’s time to watch Ralphie and his family live out the Christmas season again. “A Christmas Story” will once again air several times over Christmas Eve. and Christmas Day on TNT and TBS networks. Here’s your guide on when to tune in.
While internet rumors suggested the networks had canceled their annual marathon over a bullying scene in the Peter Billingsley-led movie, TV listings show the film is still scheduled to air as normal for Christmas 2018.
Fans of the 1983 holiday film can plan on watching the movie on TBS starting at 8 p.m. EST on Monday, Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve). The first showing will air on TNT at 9 p.m. EST the same night.
The film, which has an 86-minute run time, will air continuously on both networks for 24 hours as part of its annual marathon. Viewers can catch the last 2018 showing of “A Christmas Story” on TBS at 6 p.m. EST on Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and at 7 p.m. EST on TNT.
Altogether, the film will air 12 times on each network for the marathon.
