Dancing With the Stars
The Season 28 “Dancing With the Stars” teams will need to impress both the judges and viewers ahead of the first elimination. ABC/Eric McCandless

The first dramatic week of competition is behind them and the official teams have been revealed, but things are only going to get even more intense for the Season 28 “Dancing With the Stars” teams as they also face their first-ever elimination.

The teams are working hard to prepare for their Week 2 routines, but if they thought the quick cast change-up following Christie Brinkley’s injury and some very tough critiques from the judges during Week one were bad, then they will need to be prepared for even more now that the ABC show will be letting fans vote live during the broadcast as well.

According to a press release, viewers will be able to cast votes during the live broadcast via abc.com, the ABC app and through text messages, and those votes will be combined with both the judges’ scores from the first two weeks of competition to reveal the bottom two—and the ultimate elimination. In addition, the shoe will unveil a previously unannounced “format change” as well, which will “change everything.”

At the end of the night, one of the teams will be forced to say goodbye.

However, all 12 pairs will have one more chance to live it up and have a good time on the floor as they tackle routines to a second new dance style. So what will they perform in the hopes of winning over America and getting their votes? Check out the planned setlist below.
