The night they’ve been waiting for is finally coming, and before the end of the night Monday, one team will be crowned the Season 28 champs of “Dancing With the Stars.” However, before they can successfully claim the Mirrorball trophy, the eventual winners, as well as the other finalists, will need to perform two final routines.

After an emotional elimination which saw James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater sent home after the actor admitted to nearly losing his wife, Kimberly, after she suffered a miscarriage the weekend before, which may have contributed to his unusually low scores for the night, the ABC competition has officially been set for a final night of performances, including the always highly anticipated freestyle routines.

According to an ABC press release, the night will feature plenty of entertainment, including an opening number by the finalists to Donna Summer’s “Last Dance,” a final number featuring the other celebrities remaining in the competition, a sneak peek performance at the “Dancing with the Stars—Live Tour 2020” and performances by Cher and Pitbull and Ne-Yo. This will stand in addition to the routines that the remaining pairs perform for their final sets of scores.
