The night they’ve been waiting for is finally coming, and before the end of the night Monday, one team will be crowned the Season 28 champs of “Dancing With the Stars.” However, before they can successfully claim the Mirrorball trophy, the eventual winners, as well as the other finalists, will need to perform two final routines.

After an emotional elimination which saw James Van Der Beek and Emma Slater sent home after the actor admitted to nearly losing his wife, Kimberly, after she suffered a miscarriage the weekend before, which may have contributed to his unusually low scores for the night, the ABC competition has officially been set for a final night of performances, including the always highly anticipated freestyle routines.

According to an ABC press release, the night will feature plenty of entertainment, including an opening number by the finalists to Donna Summer’s “Last Dance,” a final number featuring the other celebrities remaining in the competition, a sneak peek performance at the “Dancing with the Stars—Live Tour 2020” and performances by Cher and Pitbull and Ne-Yo. This will stand in addition to the routines that the remaining pairs perform for their final sets of scores.

With only two performances standing in their way, it’s no-holds-barred for the Season 28 finalists. Check out the planned setlist for the final episode.

Songs:

Among the songs being performed to for the final night are:

  • “Conga” by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine
  • “Country Girl” by Luke Bryan
  • “Girl on Fire” by Alicia Keys
  • “Hollaback Girl” by Gwen Stefani
  • “Jump” by Kriss Kross

Dance Styles:

In addition to the highly anticipated freestyles, which each team will perform for their second round of the competition, the teams will also dance the following routines, which are repeats from earlier in the season.

  • Lauren Alaina and Gleb Savchenko, a.k.a. #TeamTonkeyhonk will perform a Foxtrot. They initially performed the dance in Week 4, to Dolly Parton’s "Jolene,” also scoring 32 points from the judges.
  • Ally Brooke and Sasha Farber, a.k.a. #TeamTime2Shine will perform a Jive. They scored 32 to their initial Week 4 routine, which they performed to Tina Turner’s "Proud Mary.”
  • Hannah Brown and Alan Bersten, a.k.a. #TeamAlanbamaHannah will dance the Viennese Waltz. The routine was initially danced during Week 2 to Taylor Swift’s “Lover,” and earned them a 24 from the judges.
  • Kel Mitchell and Witney Carson, a.k.a. #TeamDanceWitKel will perform a Jazz routine. They initially tackled the dance style in Week 5, earning 26 points on their Disney Night routine, which was set to the “High School Musical” song “We’re All in This Together.”

The “Dancing With the Stars” Season 28 finale airs Monday, Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
