What Will ’Dancing With The Stars’ Teams Perform For Week 7 Country Routines?
After the elimination of yet another female celebrity on Season 27 of “Dancing With the Stars,” the remaining competitors are now changing their focus as they once again prepare to start learning two routines a week, with country night introducing them all to the Team Dance for the first time.
The ABC series will say goodbye to at least one other team yet again at the end of country night, but not until after the remaining couples perform individual and team routines with their fellow celebrities. Adding to the fun of several live performances scheduled throughout the episode, the eight celebrities and their partners will tackle either a country-themed samba, Viennese waltz, rumba, cha cha, jazz, Charleston or foxtrot. Then, they will split into two teams of four for country style freestyle rounds. At the end of the night though, the fun will come to an end, and at least one other team will be hanging up their dancing shoes and saying goodbye.
So what will the teams perform? Here are the scheduled routines and song list, according to an ABC press release.
- Juan Pablo di Pace and Cheryl Burke (#TeamChernando): After earning their second set of perfect scores, Juan Pablo and Cheryl will continue trying to dominate their competition with a Charleston set to “One Shot” by Hunter Hayes.
- Milo Manheim and Witney Carson (#TeamWitlo): As Milo and Witney try for a second chance at perfection, they will perform a Foxtrot. This dance will feature a live accompaniment by LANCO, performing the song “Born to Love You.”
- Evanna Lynch and Keo Motsepe (#TeamKevanna): Evanna and Keo will attempt to get the extra point that brings them to perfection with a Rumba to “Every Little Thing,” which will feature a live performance by Carly Pearce.
- Alexis Ren and Alan Bersten (#TeamRenTen): After landing in jeopardy for the second week in a row, Alexis and Alan will do everything they can to try and get their best scores yet from the judges in the hopes it will save them from elimination. That will mean they are putting their all into a Samba, which will feature a live performance by Lauren Alaina, singing “Ladies in the ‘90s.”
- DeMarcus Ware and Lindsay Arnold (#TeamWaresOurMirrorBall): After finally having what seemed like a breakthrough performance, DeMarcus and Lindsay will perform a Viennese Waltz to “Tennessee Whiskey” by Chris Stapleton.
- Bobby Bones and Sharna Burgess (#TeamBeautyandtheGeek): Bobby and Sharna will perform a Viennese Waltz to “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” which will feature a live accompaniment by Chris Janson.
- Joe Amabile and Jenna Johnson (#TeamCHECKusOUT): After finally managing to impress the judges enough to score more than 20 points, Joe and Jenna will try to continue that streak with a Tango to “Burning Man,” by Dierks Bentley and featuring brothers Osbourne.
- John Schneider and Emma Slater (#TeamSuperDuke): After landing at the bottom of the judges’ leaderboard last week, John and Emma will try to redeem themselves with a Jazz routine to “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” by John Denver.
Following those routines, the pairs will split up into their two teams. As previously revealed, those teams are:
Team Hay Now, Dancing To Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5”:
- Bobby and Sharna
- Evanna and Keo
- John and Emma
- Milo and Witney
Team Joe Down, Dancing To Luke Bryan’s “Country Girl”:
- Alexis and Alan
- DeMarcus and Lindsay
- Joe and Jenna
- Juan Pablo and Cheryl
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
